Public health alumna Remle Crowe PhD ’18 received the 2020 James O. Page Leadership Award from the Journal of Emergency Medical Services.
The James O. Page Leadership Award recognizes an individual or organization who exhibits the drive and tenacious effort to resolve important EMS issues or bring about positive change in an EMS system, often at great personal or professional sacrifice.
In addition to her roles as a national research scientist for ESO Solutions and lead public health epidemiologist and biostatistician for the Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services Medical Directors Global Alliance, Crowe is an advocate for EMS responders and medical directors and the author of numerous papers and podcasts on mental well-being, resilience and crisis-coping as it relates to burnout and COVID-19.
