The Cancer Epidemiology Education in Special Populations

Funded research opportunity for masters and doctoral students.

The Cancer Epidemiology Education in Special Populations (CEESP) program is an NIH/NCI grant-funded research training program developed in 2006 by CUNY School of Medicine to foster public health careers in cancer epidemiology and cancer prevention and control. CEESP provides funding (up to $7,200) to public health students to travel and conduct summer research in U.S. minority and global settings. Previous international research locations include Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Morocco, Vietnam, Kenya, Egypt, Tunisia, Zambia, Romania and Colombia.
