National Latinx Heritage Month is celebrated from Sept. 15 - Oct.15 of each year. Throughout September and October, the Center for Belonging and Social Change will be hosting a series of events celebrating Latinx cultures, ethnicity and pride.
The series begins with a kickoff celebration on Sept. 12 and closes with a Day of the Dead festival on Oct. 8, with plenty of performances, talks and social gatherings in between. If you are a graduate student looking for more opportunities to connect with other Latinx students this semester, consider being part of Counseling and Consultation Service’s group Latinx Healing, Encouraging, and Rising Together (HEART), led by Marcy Lusk.
