Five College of Public Health students presented posters at the 29^th annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum, a showcase that brings together Ohio State’s graduating student researchers across disciplines. 

Donneyong was awarded a $1.78 million grant funded by the National Institutes of Health Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Consortium to Advance Health Equity and Researcher Diversity (AIM-AHEAD).

Her presentation titled, "Older adult firearm owners with early signs of cognitive impairment: Decision support tool development" was one of 10 awarded from more than 300. The award acknowledges excellence in research spanning multiple disciplines — for Prater's research, it covered geriatrics, primary care and public health.

College of Public Health student Danielle Tyson was honored with the American Public Health Association’s Epidemiology Section Student Fellowship Award for her abstract on social needs as a risk factor for depression and self-harm among adolescents. She was recognized during the APHA Annual Meeting in Atlanta.
