Ohio State Public Health alumni share a passion for improving public health and health care in our communities and throughout the world. And they share a common goal of ensuring the success of current students who will work alongside them and become the next generation of public health leaders.
Even before our students graduate from The Ohio State University, they benefit from the college’s two alumni societies, the College of Public Health Alumni Society and the Health Services Management and Policy Alumni Society.
Public Health Buckeyes benefit from the mentorship of proud college alumni, who want to see today’s students thrive. These alumni are dedicated to sharing their experiences, becoming advisors for applied practicums and helping students gain the skills needed to excel in the field.
The College of Public Health alumni societies are instrumental to professional engagement opportunities where students learn about real-world applications of issues taught in their courses. And the societies open doors to learn more about diverse public health issues developing in the field.
They also aid in improving educational programs, champion diversity, equity and inclusion, and host events that focus on public health topics affecting the community.
Most of all, it’s the sense of community that our alumni are so instrumental in creating that makes Ohio State a place where you will feel supported and connected.
