Diewo Camara receives Fulbright student program award

She will work as an English teaching assistant in France

College of Public Health alum Diewo Camara ’24 BSPH received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award and will serve as an English teaching assistant in France during the 2024-25 academic year. 

Camara joins 14 Ohio State graduating seniors and recent graduates accepted into the program. They will study, research or serve as Fulbright English teaching assistants in 11 countries during the upcoming academic year. Camara majored in public health sociology and French.

More than 2,000 recent college graduates, graduate students and early career professionals pursue graduate study, conduct research or teach English abroad each year through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.
