Carmen (Canvas) allows you to select your Course Home Page to reflect one of five layout options: the Recent Activity Dashboard, Pages Front Page, the Course Modules, the Assignment List, or the Syllabus.
Course Templates for CPH
I have created four templates that you can use for any content you choose to put online. You can use it to host an entire course or just a few components; it’s very flexible. While this template is not required by the college it does contain essential components of courses structured around Quality Matters standards, as well as all-around best practices in online course design. The template courses contain placeholders and design items that you can keep or customize to meet your needs.

Once you've decided which template course you want to use, follow the instructions below to find the template course in the Commons. Import the template into your master course, modify the placeholder content and add your own material. Review the "How Do I Find or Share a Resource" page to learn how to do this.
