Join the Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning’s graduate consultants to learn skills for tackling difficult conversations in a variety of contexts: in the classroom, across email, and during office hours.
Through this workshop, participants will gain confidence in preventing, managing, and following up on tough situations relevant to their specific role.
During this workshop, participants will:
- Identify and practice strategies for addressing hot moments inside and outside the classroom.
- Reflect on how to best prevent future hot moments.
Lunch will be provided. All graduate students, regardless of teaching experience, are welcome to attend!
