Two College of Public Health PhD students received the 2024-25 Presidential Fellowship, the Graduate School’s most prestigious award recognizing students with outstanding scholarly accomplishment and potential. The award honors students entering the final phase of their dissertation research or terminal degree project.

Patrick Schnell, assistant professor of biostatistics, was recognized by the American Statistical Association (ASA) for his top tier 2023 paper on COVID-19 testing. 

Kenah and Rempala were nominated by Wasiur KhudaBukhsh, a postdoc in the Division of Biostatistics and the Mathematical Biosciences Institute. They will be nominated for the National Postdoctoral Association Gallagher Mentor Award.
